Words will never describe the time we had last weekend on Divya’s bachelorette party in Bangalore. A group of everyone I love was invited and me being the host. The recipe for a perfect weekend, one that’ll never forget!
I had been looking forward to this weekend for a while now. We planned for exactly 6 months for this day. Nischita Deepika and me were the party planners. Divya will be getting married to the love her life on 24th this month and we had to make sure her whole entourage could be here to celebrate so we made it an early celebration. The first night we all gathered together to kick off the weekend. First things first. Nishchita and me planned the party proceedings. Our party theme was black and pink, bride being the pink bridesmaids being black. We cleaned the entire house to bring the party set up. And started our decorations. We set up the selfie zone with completely shimmery curtains. The entire wall was set up with “bride to be” balloons and other stuff. Nischitha did the selfie props. I packed the bride’s gifts. We struggled a lot with foil balloon which was funny. We however finished everything and got ready by 5. The bride arrived around 5:30, we got her ready and finally started our party.
The first step was treasure hunt for the bride. Our bride being the bimbo, had to struggle for the clues.
The next part was tattoo session. The fun part. Everyone loved their tattoos.
Once the tattoos were done, do I need to say what next? Everyone was posing in their best possible way. It was the Photoshoot now. Next comes my favourite part. Gift opening. We gave 10 gifts for the bride including cooking book, pillow, spa set, scented candles, memory journal, mug written “pataka dulhan”, scrapbook, list to do and watch. Bride loved them all. And our favourite gift was “kiss the miss goodbye” which we struggled a lot to get it done. Phew!

Games
My part began. I was the host for the games and it began.. there were totally 10 games which was enjoyed by everyone. I kept gifts for games as well. I could literally see the competition brewing among them. We played kiss the groom where the picture of the groom was pasted to the wall and our blindfolded bride had to kiss the groom. Next game was title game where titles where given to everyone by our bride. Dirty mind game was everyone’s favourite. Emoji game was my invention. Rapid fire was almost on fire as everyone gave rapid and candid answers to win the prize.
Next was cake cutting. We wished our bride all the happiness in the world. Our dinner set up was the best.
Food was just amazing as per our expectations. We ordered Italian as Divya(our bride) like Italian cuisine.
After the food we had some more games. Word search was just a tough game with tough competition between Nischitha and Deepika. Nischitha won it. Quiz was again aa fun game where i understood how dumb are my friends. Deepika won it. Best game was “bridal bingo” which was won by Deepika. she truly deserves it coz she outdone it. Last game was everyone’s favourite.. the ‘drink if‘ game. Haha. We had almost 30 cards of drink if and by the end everyone was high. And what was left out to do. Drink and dance.. that’s correct. We danced for 30 good mins without Caring for anyone in the world like nobody’s watching.

The bride had such a fun time and it was the perfect girls weekend. I’m so so happy for my best friend Divya. She found a man that truly values her and loves and treats her the way she deserves to be treated.
I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend to celebrate the soon to be Mrs. What are some of the ways you’ve celebrated a bachelorette party or if you haven’t what would you want to do? Let me know in the comments below.
